When you enter your CNIC number in the Offline Checker screen:
• The CNIC is only used locally on your device
• It is used solely to pre-fill your default SMS application with the number 8171 as recipient
• You must manually press the Send button in your own SMS app
• The App never sends SMS automatically on your behalf
• The CNIC number is never transmitted to our servers because we have no servers

4. WEBVIEW AND THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE
The "8171 Official Check" feature loads the official government website (8171.bisp.gov.pk) inside the App using Android WebView. Please note:
• Any information you enter on that government website is governed by the Government of Pakistan's own privacy policy
• We have no access to, control over, or visibility into what you do on the government website
• We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of external websites

The App opens your default SMS app with a pre-filled message. The App does not have READ_SMS, SEND_SMS, or RECEIVE_SMS permissions. It cannot read, send, or access your messages.
CALL INTENT (not a permission — uses Android intent)
The App opens your default phone dialler with the BISP helpline number pre-filled. The App does not have CALL_PHONE permission. It cannot make calls automatically.
